sweet semolina pudding


 1 cup vegetable oil

2 cups fine semolina



 2 cups sugar 

6 cups water

2 or 3 cinnamon sticks  

6 whole cloves


Place water, cinnamon and cloves into saucepan and bring to boil. 

Add sugar, stir until dissolved and boil for 5 minutes. 

In a seperate sauce heat oil in saucepan, add semolina and stir through until golden brown.

 Pour syrup into semolina stirring continuously, until smooth and mixture is bubbling.

Cook for a few minutes. 

Remove from heat and leave until cooled slightly. 

Pour halva evenly into each mould and allow to cool before removing.
